Sakura Sushi Armação de Pêra

Sakura is the name given to cherry blossoms in Japan, belonging to the species Prunus serrulata. The fruit is called sakurambo (cherry).

In Japanese cities there are many cherry trees in the streets and parks, responsible for a true spectacle of nature in early spring, when most Japanese families go out for the traditional picnic under the flowering trees.

And it was from this Japanese gastronomic tradition that we decided to name our restaurant “Sakura-Sushi”!
